ALVARO TORRES RELEASES SINGLE “NUESTRO AMOR” FROM HIS LATEST ALBUM

Torres teams up with Mexican singer, Dulce, to sing about love.

MIAMI, Florida (January 16, 2010) - In the advent of Valentines Day, singer Alvaro Torres is releasing his song “Nuestro Amor” (Our Love), the second single from his latest release titled “Muy Personal” (Very Personal).

Since the release of his newest album last October, Alvaro has become very popular among various radio stations in Latin America and the United States. He has also climbed to the #3 spot on Billboard’s Christian Music Sales Chart.

“I’m very thankful for the fan support, but even more for God’s support,” said Alvaro Torres. He believes that it is by the grace of God that he is alive today and able to share what the Lord has given him.

As in several of his previous albums, where he has duets with amazing singers like Marisela, Jose Feliciano, and the late Selena, the Salvadorian singer’s new album features  singer Dulce on this beautiful duet. Torres and Dulce came together to sing “Nuestro Amor” (Our Love).

“Besides being very talented, Dulce is a dear friend. She is very loved by the Hispanic community,” said the award-winning singer-songwriter. Alvaro has collaborated with Dulce in the past by composing some of the best-known songs of the renowned Mexican singer like “Aun lo Amo” (I Still Love Him).

Most of the songs on his new album are totally Christ-centered. However, there are four songs on the album “Muy Personal” with social, humanitarian and romantic themes, like the song “Nuestro Amor.”
As its name suggests, the song is about love for a partner. Alvaro said, “in the midst of a society where there are so many marriages that end in disaster, this song conveys the importance of keeping the promise that was made to God.”
Regardless of his conversion to Christianity, Alvaro Torres says he will continue singing about love and disaffection, two feelings that have inspired him to write some of the most romantic songs ever written in the history of Latin music.

ALVARO TORRES DEBUTS AT #3 ON BILLBOARD’S LATIN CHRISTIAN SALES CHART

Miami and Puerto Rico proving to be key markets

NASHVILLE, TN (Dec 2009) – Big Dream Christian Music/Indie Extreme recording artist, Alvaro Torres debuted his newest album, Muy Personal, at #3 on the Billboard Latin Christian Sales Chart. Alvaro is thrilled with the initial success of his first spiritually inspired album because it is different from his previous works. CEO of Big Dream Christian Music, Jorge Tarajano, says, “We are blessed and fortunate for the overwhelming welcome and reception of Alvaro’s music in the Christian Ministry.”

The city of Miami, Florida, and Puerto Rico have shown their ongoing support for Alvaro. People from these areas have listened to Alvaro’s music for years and share a strong personal bond with him. Alvaro’s Muy Personal is reaching a new audience through the Christian industry, and unsurprisingly still adored by his huge fan base. The veteran musical artist has won awards and earned numerous Gold and Platinum records in the past, and hopes to achieve the same with this album.

After being involved in a tragic single car auto accident where one person died and all were badly injured, Alvaro realized the power of God. The incident became the inspiration for this album’s title and songs because God had approached him in a “very personal” manner. Alvaro is known for his array of love songs, and is now creating songs dedicated to the love of God.

Indie Extreme, which is based in Nashville, Tenn., represents musical acts ranging from folk legend Judy Collins to hit CCM artist Matt Brouwer.  The firm partners with Universal Music Christian Group/Fontana for distribution and retail marketing, along with providing various label services to independent labels.

INDIE EXTREME SIGNS 5 YEAR OLD SINGING SENSATION, KAITLYN MAHER

Media Inquiries:

Long Awaited Debut Album “You Were Meant To Be” Released Digitally

NASHVILLE, TN (Dec. 2009) – Kare Entertainment LLC, the independent label of Kaitlyn Maher –  the 5 year old singing sensation who won the hearts of millions with her vocal talent and personality on NBC’s hit show Amercia’s Got Talent – recently signed a distribution deal to release her debut album “You Were Meant To Be” with the Nashville-based label management firm, Indie Extreme, through  the firm’s partnership with Universal Music Christian Group (UMCG).

Kaitlyn’s Christmas singles “Away in A Manager” and “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” were the first to be released to radio and the digital retail stores. The release of the full album is set for early December at iTunes, Amazon, Walmart.com, BestBuy.com and other online digital retailers.  The physical CD is available for ordering only at www.KaitlynMaher.com and is set to ship on December 17th in time for Christmas.

A welcome departure from typical debut projects, “You Were Meant To Be,” produced by Grammy award winner Robert Reynolds (The Mavericks) and Scotty Huff (former guitar player for Keith Urban), is peppered with originality and personality.   The album includes world-class musicians who have played for some of the biggest names in the music industry including the Dave Matthews Band, Kid Rock, Tim McGraw, Vince Gill, George Strait, Michael W. Smith, and Amy Grant.

Kaitlyn co-wrote two of the CD’s most memorable songs, “Daddy, I Love You” and “Dreams Come True.”  “Daddy, I Love You” is a heart-stirring ballad written by a loving daughter to her doting dad as she grows up. “Dreams Come True” is remarkable not only in the way the chorus’ rapturous classical melody sticks in your head but also because it was the first song Kaitlyn ever started writing, at only four years old.

The album includes a fresh arrangement of the up-tempo foot-stomper “I Can See Clearly Now” and showcases a bit of Kaitlyn’s spunky side. The title cut, “You Were Meant to Be,” offers encouragement to forge ahead in the midst of struggles.  “Amazing Grace” sneaks up on you from its hauntingly beautiful piano intro to its innocently delicate ending.  The album would be incomplete without “Somewhere Out There,” a live-performance favorite that Kaitlyn first sang on America’s Got Talent.  Indeed, Kaitlyn breathes freshness and vitality into each song, making them uniquely her own.

Since becoming the youngest artist ever to make it into the Top 10 as a Finalist on America’s Got Talent, Kaitlyn was a featured entertainer at the White House for then-President and First Lady Bush.  Kaitlyn has headlined at large venues throughout the country (including performing before audiences of over 40,000) and has appeared on the Today Show, Access Hollywood, ESPN, in People magazine, as well as other prominent interviews, newspapers and websites around the world.  Kaitlyn is planning a media campaign in mid-December and will be performing songs from her album as well as recently released Christmas singles on radio and television programs such as both Fox and Friends’ Christmas Salute to the Troops special as well as the Bonnie Hunt Show.

Kaitlyn debuts in the just released direct-to-DVD Disney movie, Santa Buddies.  To top things off, she was selected by Disney to be the lead actress in The Search for Santa Paws,  filmed in Vancouver, Canada and scheduled for release November 2010.

Throughout this journey, Kaitlyn has been passionate about following her heart and helping others.  She was honored to be selected by Compassion International – one of the largest aid organizations in the world – to be their first ever Child Ambassador to raise awareness of and address global child poverty.  She is planning a trip to Guatemala on behalf of Compassion to bring relief to the children in need.  Kaitlyn will also be donating a portion of the proceeds from her You Were Meant to Be CD and merchandise to Compassion’s efforts.
