Red Carpet Rats Partner with Musicians On Call
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 2010) – Indie Extreme has announced its newest label, Chauffeur Records to the Indie Extreme roster of independent artists and labels. Chauffeur Records, is a full service independent record label founded by Uni Pereira and McCabe of the Modern Rock/Hot AC band, Red Carpet Rats. The first singles “Photographic Memory” and “Going to Hell” from the band’s upcoming new album “Year of the Rat,” were released on iTunes and other digital stores through Fontana Distribution in mid-May. The pop/rock infused “Photographic Memory” has already hit Number 1 on the Live365 radio network which reaches millions of listeners worldwide. “Going To Hell,” with its darker edge, has recently been featured in an ESPN segment.
Red Carpet Rats, the official “spokesband” for the Tennessee chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America, has recently teamed up with Musicians On Call, a nonprofit organization formed in 1999, who bring live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. Uni and band mate Doc Singles are also busy collaborating to develop and prepare a Red Carpet Rats comic book to be released by Viper Comics in the fall.
